BEATIEN YAZZ, (b. cir. 1928 - ) "Little No Shirt (Jimmy Toddy)" was born in 1928.  He served in the US Marines in World War II and was a member of the Navajo Code Talkers.  Upon his return to the reservation, he began to paint in earnest.  He has become one of the most popular painters with collectors since the 1950's.  Due to severe eye problems, his painting has become very limited.
