Bluestone Trading Company is a Family owned business located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Although a relatively new company in the fast emerging world of E-commerce, its owners are no strangers to Native American arts and crafts and many of the wonderful people that create them. Both were born and raised in Gallup, New Mexico, a small town considered by many to be the “Indian Jewelry Capitol of the World”. Gallup is home and neighbor to some of the most talented jewelry makers, weavers, potters, artists, and just down right friendly folks in America. An appreciation for the crafts of the Native Americans comes naturally to anyone lucky enough to have lived in an area like this. It was from this “appreciation” that we decided to create our company. The merchandise you see on our site will always be authentic and chosen for its quality of workmanship. It has been purchased either directly from the artist who created the item or from our friends who operate stores or trading posts in the Gallup area.
